I love this almost comicbook style, the shounen-style lines in Reno, and the way he's the focus of the page, and the background isn't all that important. The bold colors behind his head really make him pop out, and I love his soft, trademark bishounen face!
For some reason, this reminds me of the old pixel-newspaper art you see on vintage tees and other things like the cover of the movie, "Reefer Madness!"
